Wizz Air flight to London performs emergency stop after bird collision
Budapest (MTI) – A Wizz Air Airbus 320 bound for London on Sunday performed an emergency stop on the runway of Debrecen airport, in eastern Hungary, after colliding with a flock of seagulls.
No injuries were reported, according to an official of Airport Debrecen Kft. The passengers were asked to disembark and will be taken by a replacement plane to Luton. No damage to the plane was established during an inspection.
