Prime Minister Viktor Orbán holds talks with the CEO of Magyar Suzuki
Head of the Prime Minister’s Press Office Bertalan Havasi informed kormany.hu that “On Monday morning Prime Minister Viktor Orbán received the new Managing Director of Magyar Suzuki Zrt., Mr. Yoshinobu Abe, for an introductory visit”.
The private discussion was also attended by Minister for National Economy Mihály Varga and MP for Esztergom Pál Völner, while Suzuki was also represented by Deputy Managing Director László Urban and Executive General Manager Róbert Krisztián.
The Prime Minister and Mr. Abe reviewed Magyar Suzuki’s market position and role in the life of the Hungarian economy.
“Both parties acknowledged the market success of the new Vitara model, which is manufactured in Hungary. The mass production of this model was launched in the presence of the Hungarian prime minister, who together with Mr. Abe has confidence in the further success of the company’s plant in Esztergom. The Hungarian government repeated its commitment to fully considering Magyar Suzuki’s interests with regard to the transport and infrastructure development of the Komárom-Esztergom region”, the Chief Press Officer said.
