The lost Hungarian researcher’s body was found in Dagestan

According to index.hu, the body of the young Hungarian biologist, who got lost in Dagestan half a year ago, was found. The 27-year-old Péter Török was last seen by his acquaitances in Makhachkala on the 5th of March. 

The young man versed in extreme hiking and long Russian trips. He started off alone from the city lying on the coast of the Caspian Sea to explore the Sulak Canyon. At the time of his disappearance there was a good chance that he had been kidnapped by armed groups in the region that lies along the Caspian Sea.

Different teams were hunting after Péter Török throughout March, they even found his footprint at the river coast, but they could tell from the footprints that he had turned back from the path leading to the river. However, they gave up the quest in April.
