Study In Hungary: How would you briefly define Andrássy University Budapestin 3-4 sentences?
Peter Schützhold: AUB was founded in 2001 and is the only university outside the German speaking area operating entirely in German. AUB is a Hungarian and international university supported by Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and South Tyrol. The university is an academic joint venture, which serves as a common German speaking academic bridge in the Danube region. AUB is an international and European university, where students and teachers have a strong contact and AUB is committed to ensuring very high job market qualities.
Study In Hungary: What are the competitive advantages of your university to other Hungarian and European universities?
Peter Schützhold: Interdisciplinarity, internationality and an excellent student mentoring together make up a study concept which demands and supports autonomy. Peter Schützhold: Home of Andrássy University is the Festetics palace in the centre of Budapest, directly behind the National museum, where you can find modern class rooms, two well-appointed libraries and neo-classical ball rooms. It’s a very special atmosphere.
