First snow of the season and weather forecast
It appears that not only autumn has arrived this week but winter seems to be reminding us of its existence already, as well, as the first snow of the season arrived. Origo.hu writes that the trees in the Mátra became covered in snow.
The site shares the weather forecast of Met.hu, according to which, over the level of the 500-600m high mountains rain became replaced by snow, though, it was said to last only on the highest mountain peaks.
The heavy rains caused the meteorological service to issue warnings for four counties: Veszprém, Komárom-Esztergom, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg, and Hajdú-Bihar counties were warned of significant amounts of rain.
By Friday evening there will be cumulus in the sky and cause scattered showers. The northeast winds get liven and the temperature is said to be about 12 degrees in the evening.
The early hours of Saturday will be covered in fog in some places, whereas the daytime would bring a variably cloudy weather with several hours of sunshine. The temperature in the morning will be between 0-6 degrees and 11-16 degrees in the evening.
A sunny weather with only a few clouds will characterize Sunday at first, but, as the day goes on, more and more clouds will appear in the sky and the evening is likely to bring rain in Transdanubia. The maximum temperature is going to be around 15 degrees.
The weather of Monday will be particularly cloudy or overcast and people in several places will need to take an umbrella with them, unless they want to dance in the rain. The temperature will be around 9-13 degrees.
Tuesday and Wednesday do not seem to bring a brighter weather either: overcast skies, scattered showers and a maximum temperature of 12-13 degrees are forecasted.
