The permanent spas of Budapest Spas cPlc. performed excellently in the first three-quarters of this year. According to termálfürdő.hu, nearly 2.2 million guests visited the spas from January to September 2016, which means a 5% increase.
Széchenyi Bath was the most visited spa this year, too. According to the latest research made in the spas, the number of foreign guests in the historic bathhouses is significant. This ratio is around 80 % in the case of the Széchenyi and the Gellért Bath, while almost half of the guests are foreigners in the Rudas Bath. The majority of the foreign guests come from Western-Europeam countries (UK, France, Germany, Italy) and from the United States of America.
