President Áder receives ethnic Hungarian church leaders
Budapest (MTI) – President János Áder hosted a formal lunch for ethnic Hungarian church leaders at Sándor Palace on Thursday.
Ethnic Hungarian church leaders help ensure that “our compatriots living as minorities” do not lose “their Hungarian identities”, Áder said at the event.
The president said churches play an “irreplaceable” role in the lives of Hungarians living beyond the borders, he said.
Áder said that in an “era of constant change and alienation”, it is important that Hungarians should have vigorous communities, a robust nation as well as strong faith and hope.
