Hungary to host world congress for families in 2017
Budapest, December 9 (MTI) – Hungary will host next year’s World Congress of Families, according to an official announcement made at a conference in South Africa on Friday.
The conference was attended by Katalin Novák, Hungary’s state secretary for family, youth and international affairs at the human resources ministry, who also met South Africa’s education minister and signed an agreement under which that country will be included in the Stipendium Hungaricum programme.
Novák told MTI by phone that South Africa is Hungary’s 53rd partner in the programme, and the scheme now benefits altogether 3,500 foreign students studying at Hungarian universities and colleges.
