Gripen damaged in 2015 accident repaired
Budapest (MTI) – A Gripen jet of the Hungarian air force, which was damaged in an accident last year, has now been repaired, the defence ministry told MTI on Friday.
The overhauled JAS 39 C Gripen arrived at the military air base at Kecskemet, in southeastern Hungary, on Friday.
The jet overran the runway at Caslav military air base in the Czech Republic on June 10, 2015. The pilots, carrying out protocols for such cases, successfully ejected and remained unharmed.
