Hungarian Baptist Charity collects 41,000 ‘shoeboxes’ of gifts for poor children
Budapest (MTI) – Hungary’s Baptist Charity has collected 41,000 donations in its Shoebox Action aimed at ensuring that needy children receive a Christmas present.
The gifts, collected at 200 points nationwide, will go to poor families and children in orphanages, the organisation told MTI on Friday.
The Baptist Charity launched its gift-collecting programme 13 years ago.
