Admission – ELTE is the most popular again

According to infogyor.hu, Eotvos Lorand University became the most popular higher education institution again, every fifth applicants applied to ELTE, 8093 people will begin their studies there from September.

22 182 people applied to the institute, which means 21% of the total number of applicants. At the first place, 12 thousand people chose one of the subjects of the university. According to the results, more than 8 thousand students will begin their studies in September. 86 percent of the freshmen will be full-time, 75% of them involved in basic and uninterrupted courses.

The highest point limit at ELTE was 492 points, it was needed for  English language and culture – German and ethnic German language and culture undivided subject. A total of 14 subjects required more than 450 points for a successful admission.

The average limit was the highest at the Gusztav Barczi Faculty of Special Education (399), PPK (392)  and at the Faculty of Social Sciences (373).

Most of the newly accepted applied to the faculty of arts, the faculty of sciences and the faculty of pedagogy and psychology. The most populous subject of ELTE is law with 607 people, followed by program designer informatics with 519 people.
