Aggressive fight on Budapest’s busiest tram line – VIDEO
Tram 4-6 is one of the busiest lines of Budapest’s public transport, always full of people. Needless to say, atrocities often occur. The latest fight caught on camera happened on Wednesday and involved four people and a gas spray.
First, ripost took notice of a video circulating on Facebook. It was easy to recognise that the incident took place on the 4-6 tram. The original footage was recorded by Vanda Schumacher, 24 reports. Vanda shared the video on Instagram, and it quickly circulated the internet.
24 reached out to Vanda to share what had happened on the tram from her point of view. As can be seen in the video, the young woman wearing a pink hoodie got into an argument with the man in black. Things must have escalated quickly because when the camera was recording, the woman was already yelling loudly.
When asked why she recorded the incident, Vanda said that it was because people are less likely to commit crimes when filmed. She thought it would also come in handy to have evidence of what really happened.
After the yelling, the man in black became furious and started advancing towards the girl in pink. The man was closely followed by (presumably) his girlfriend who was wearing white. The girl in pink managed to kick the girl in white away from herself.
Another man with long hair intervened when the man in black wanted to punch the girl in pink in the face. The two men started struggling, then the woman in white sprayed them with gas spray.
The gas spray got to Vanda too, who started coughing and moved away from the fumes.
By this point, the other passengers asked the tram driver to stop the vehicle, which he did not do. Instead, he opened the doors at the next stop. Almost everyone got off the tram, including the aggressors.
Vanda Schumacher was later asked to go into the police station to give her statement. Police persecuted the aggressors for affray. Affray is a criminal offence generally defined as the fight of two or more persons in a public place that disturbs others. In English criminal law, it can also mean the use or threat of the use of unlawful violence, causing a person to fear for his safety.

I think the writer meant to write ‘prosecuted’ rather than ‘persecuted’. It is illegal to persecute someone in Hungary.
All too often it is woman who starts a fight and then a man who gets the blame. Women often incite violence and should be made to face the consequences.
