Attention! Airbus plane skids off Budapest Airport runway amid intense snowfall – photo, video

During the pushback of Pegasus Airlines flight PC332 from Budapest to Istanbul, a ground handling team’s aircraft tug veered the Airbus A320 off the solid tarmac and straight into the grass, leaving it well and truly stuck, Budapest Airport confirmed to the Hungarian News Agency on Monday.
Thankfully, no one was hurt. The 176 passengers on board were safely whisked back to the terminal by bus and are all accounted for.
Airport operators have jumped into action to free the plane, with no disruption to flights and everything running smoothly and securely.
Heavy snow is blanketing the area too, but Budapest Airport’s snow-clearing fleet is working flat out to keep runways, taxiways, and aprons clear. Some flights might face minor delays due to de-icing and the widespread weather woes across Europe.

The article makes clear that the aircraft didn’t skid off the runway which would be a very serious incident if it was the case. Due to a lack of grip or otherwise, an aircraft tug has pushed an aircraft into an unpaved area which is a vastly different state of affairs.
I bet that tug driver was fired.
