Amazing fall vacation destinations

Not everyone gets a chance to go on vacation during the summer for various reasons, so here are some great destinations in Hungary where you can relax for a bit during the fall.

Hotel Yacht

Hotel Yacht Wellness & Business Siófok offers two packages you can choose from: “Ősszel is Balaton” (“Balaton in Autumn too”) and “Őszi vakáció” (“Autumn Vacation”). The hotel is located on the stunning coast of Lake Balaton.

The first package is available from September 1 to November 30, while the second one starts on October 22 and lasts until November 1. They both include two nights (though prolonging the stay is possible), half-board – with buffet breakfast and dinner, or a four-course dinner meal, depending on the number of people –, WiFi, unlimited use of the Wellness Centre and Sauna World – with a 25-metre pool, hot tub, saunas, and a kiddy pool –, towels, and robes. You can also bring your pet along if you wish, for an extra fee.

Kastélyhotel Sasvár Resort

This hotel, which is a castle, is suitable for a romantic getaway with your partner, or for a family vacation. They offer half-board, entrance to the wellness and fitness facilities, a visit to the Bellevue lookout, robes, indoor sports and game activities, and WiFi.

There are three wings of the hotel, each with a different theme: a Renaissance one with Biedermeier and empire-style rooms and furniture, a rendez-vous one perfect for newlyweds and couples, and a romantic one for families and solo travellers.

Their “Wonderful Autumn in the Mátra” package for a minimum of two nights is available until November 26.
