Another huge police raid took place in the party district of Budapest – PHOTOS

In Districts V, VI, VII of Budapest, nearly 300 police officers in uniforms and civil clothes watched over the party district and areas of the Hungarian capital.

• Budapest party district: 2/3 of bars decided to remain closed at night

Police reported that the number of people who party in the open streets and bars of Budapest rapidly increases during the summer season. Hungarian authorities would like to provide safety and maximum precautions for those who would like to enjoy themselves in Budapest during the night. On Madách Square, District VII, the Hungarian police aimed to check three bars and looked for illegal drug trafficking, parking, and other violent crimes.

In one of the bars, Hungarian police found a small amount of drug in the bartender’s bag and put the woman under arrest.

At another bar, the same incident happened with the DJ of the place. Nearly 519 cars were checked during the night, and they caught nine citizens and fined citizens for breaking traffic rules in 38 cases. The police reported that although many incidents happened and instant action was needed, no major event disturbed the safe and calm nightlife of Budapest.
