Another Hungarian soldier dies fighting Russian invaders in Ukraine

Another Hungarian citizen has died in the Ukraine war, Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó said on Monday. The family of the victim, a man in his early 40s from the Uzhhorod (Ungvár) region and father of three, will receive full government support. “We will contact the family immediately and provide assistance, though I will not specify details to avoid Ukrainian obstruction of such aid,” he said.
Szijjártó also addressed the case of a Hungarian man detained in Ukraine for helping five Ukrainians flee conscription. “Everyone is exhausted by this war — Hungarians, Europeans, and Ukrainians alike. Many Ukrainian men, fathers, and sons are desperate to escape the front,” he said, condemning Ukraine’s “open-season manhunts and brutal forced conscription”, evidenced by videos of men being “beaten and dragged from their families into vehicles, regardless of health or fitness”.
“The Hungarian government demands EU sanctions against those responsible for these conscription practices. Our proposal is on the table in Brussels, yet they turn a blind eye,” he added.
The minister confirmed that consular protection has been extended to the detained Hungarian and that all efforts are being made to secure his swift return.
Criticising “calls for EU-wide conscription”, Szijjártó rejected the idea for Hungary: “We need peace, not conscription. This is not our war, and we will not send Hungarian youth to die in Ukraine.” He accused Brussels of enabling Ukraine’s “forced mobilization” through inaction.

Another Hungarian, from a part of Hungary unjustly located in the Ukraine, died for a puppet Ukrainian government that forcibly conscripted him, in yet another not so covert attempt to destabilize Russia.
Yet another tragedy, but, alas, the so-called defenders of The West will no more be troubled about this than they have been at the other millions of those killed and maimed for their craven ends, in what history indicated is NOT the eastern part of Western Europe, but, rather, Western Orthodox Russia.
