Beware! Several parts of downtown Budapest is closed for cars today

There is a running competition in Budapest today. Therefore, many streets have been closed to traffic, BKK, Budapest’s transport company, said in a statement.

The Apród Street, Ybl Miklós Square and Chain Bridge will be closed for cars between 0 PM and 5 PM. Furthermore, you cannot use the Várkert embankment until 4 PM and the Szabadság Bridge between 7 AM and 2.30 PM.

The Buda lower embankment between the Egry József Street and the Margaret Bridge will be closed temporarily. Cars will not be allowed to use the Műegyetem rakpart (embankment) between the Szabadság Bridge and the Bertalan Lajos Street and the Szent Gellért embankment between the Szabadság Bridge and the Döbrentei Square, Portfólió wrote.

The schedule of trams nr 19, 41, 47 and 49, and buses nr 133E, 7 and 107 will also change due to the runners.
