Breaking – foreign citizens not having TAJ number can register from today!
Not only they, but Hungarian citizens living abroad and not having a health insurance (TAJ) number can also register in the EESZT (Electronic Health Services Area) to get a vaccine in Hungary.
According to koronavirus.gov.hu, the Hungarian vaccination program reached a new cornerstone. Since 55 pc of the Hungarian population and 92 pc of those who registered received at least their first jab, the government decided to allow the vaccination of foreign citizens living in Hungary and Hungarian citizens living abroad even if they do not have a TAJ number.
These two groups can register from May on the www.vakcinainfo.gov.hu website. For the foreign individuals, there is
an English website, while the appointment reservation system of the EESZT opened for them today.
According to koronavirus.gov.hu, those who registered will receive an email that will include the link to the English language version of the appointment reservation program and an identification code (PID) generated by the EESZT system.
To book an appointment, you have to enter the website using the ID number you gave during your registration and the PID number you will receive in the email. You will be able to go to hospital vaccination centres. Furthermore,
you can choose from Sinopharm, Pfizer, and Sputnik V jabs.
It is crucial to bring your statement of consent (hozzájáruló nyilatkozat), which can be downloaded from HERE in Hungarian and from HERE in English.
Of course, if foreigners get inoculated in Hungary, they will receive a Hungarian immunity certificate with which they can travel to many countries. Read more about your travel options with a Hungarian immunity certificate below:

ANOTHER WASTE OF TIME
DOES NOT WORK AGAIN,??
you can not say I did not try
Well that made me laugh, I am a permanent resident here in Hungary I have received both my jabs the first back in March and I still haven’t received my green card, yes I have been into the town hall had all my cards doctors certificate showing the date and which vaccine I had photo copied, 1 month ago and no reply . I have also sent an email through the gate thing and again no reply but if I were to forget to pay my TB contribution they would email me and then freez my bank account and put various paper work on my car and house.
Sorry but I think it is fake news here….please stop with the empty promises keep the first one and then I could well believe this one.
Unhappy resident. First of all , NO ONE here keeps money in a bank.Ask IGN.
Saying you permanently reside here doesn’t wash I’m afraid. DO YOU HAVE A TAJ num? Do you have ‘Residential Status? Right to Remain.? Do you have an ID card? If not ,that is why you are waiting. The immunity card requires a Number, either TAJ or ID number . I’m an expat with all the above criteria, got my card. (BTW. Which I found gathering dust at the post office for a month).
Oi, yes I have my permanent residency card, taj card too. I do not have an ID card.I am allowed to be here too, The only thing I do not have is an ID card I will look into getting that as long as I do not have to become a Hungarian citizen. I will never be able to write in Hungarian.
Oi… “gathering dust at the post office for a month” How is it you were able to get into the dusty recesses of the post office? Perhaps some of the documents I’m waiting for months for are there as well. Please enlighten.
