Brutal! Three men held as slaves on a Hungarian farm – VIDEO
The Police made public an unbelievable video taken on a farm in a small Hungarian town.
On Thursday, the Police Headquarters of Bács-Kiskun County uploaded a shocking video of a farm from the town of Jánoshalma. According to suspicion,
several men were held as slaves
by someone who had offered them accommodation.
Horror: A Hungarian couple locked up a 71-year-old French woman
As telex.hu writes, the Police have found the farm while questioning a 69-year-old man as the witness of a criminal case. It is how it turned out that he was responsible for the livestock while living in terrible conditions, practically as a slave.
He told the Police that he and the 38-year-old owner of the farm had gotten to know each other ten years ago.
He offered the man an all-inclusive opportunity, including a job, accommodation, and alimentation.
But instead, after a while, he did not provide absolutely any payment to his employee.
Moreover, he physically abused him on many occasions.
The poor man tried to get away, but the owner always dragged him back to the farm, where he did not even have availability for basic hygiene.
Police.hu reports that towards the end, the poor man held captive had to sleep in small storage for fodder, from which on occasions, he had no other option but to eat.
After questioning him, the Police started to investigate. They discovered that the farm’s owner was not only taking him a hostage but
actually abused two other men, as well. They were both already living in difficult conditions;
hence they accepted the offer that was supposed to come with work, accommodation, alimentation, and some payment. Unfortunately, none of them received anything apart from occasional beatings and inhuman living conditions. To top it off, one of them, a 36-year-old shepherd, was even threatened to be killed if he dared to report to the Police.
Finally, the owner was captured on July 14. He is accused of human trafficking and forced labour committed against several people. The Police have made an application for his arrest. Detectives are now investigating with the help of experts, whether the livestock’s treatment and alimentation were proper or the owner violated their rights, as well.
