Several embassies in Budapest unite to highlight growing international recognition of Palestine

At the initiative of the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Hungary, and in cooperation with the Embassies of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the French Republic, the French Ambassador hosted an official event on Thursday to mark the growing international recognition of the State of Palestine.
To date, 159 out of 193 United Nations member states have officially recognised the State of Palestine, and this event follows the International Conference held in New York last July in support of Palestinian rights.
The event was attended by representatives from over 35 diplomatic missions, including ambassadors and senior diplomats, who reiterated in their statements the importance of recognising the State of Palestine as a fundamental step toward affirming the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination and the establishment of their independent state.

In his remarks, H.E. Dr Fadi El-Husseini, Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Hungary, emphasised that the importance of this occasion lies not only in the outcomes of the New York Conference but also in its symbolic value as a message of hope, as the recognition of the State of Palestine constitutes a cornerstone for achieving stability and peace in the region.
Furthermore, Ambassador El-Husseini underscored the moral obligation of the international community toward a nation that continues to struggle for independence and the realisation of its right to self-determination. Ambassador El-Husseini expressed his appreciation to the countries that have supported the Palestinian people and contributed to the recent ceasefire, noting that recognition of the State of Palestine reflects the ethical stance of nations that uphold the principles of justice and human rights. He concluded by expressing his gratitude to the French Embassy for hosting the event.
Watch the Ambassador’s speech below:
H.E. Mr Jeanathan Lacôte, Ambassador of the French Republic to Hungary, stated that the event was the outcome of joint efforts by France and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He affirmed that France’s recognition of the State of Palestine reflects its long-standing commitment to the two-state solution and its respect for the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination.
H.E. Mr Majid Al-Abdan, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Hungary, affirmed that recognition of the State of Palestine represents a clear expression of international solidarity and an affirmation of the Palestinian people’s legitimate legal and historical right to establish an independent state based on the 1967 borders, in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative and relevant United Nations resolutions. Ambassador Al-Abdan stressed that this initiative serves as a reminder of the urgent need for coordinated and serious efforts to achieve the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

Speakers welcomed the ceasefire agreement announced earlier that morning, expressing hope that it would bring an end to the suffering of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. They stressed that the ceasefire must serve as a first step toward ending the Israeli occupation and establishing the State of Palestine on the ground, in accordance with international law and relevant United Nations resolutions.

So, you reject a state in 1937, then in 1948, then in 1968, then in 2001, then in 2008.
You instead start one war after another after another and, somehow, despite the odds, get your swamp a.. handed to you.
You also embark on a global campaign of bloody terror: hijacking airliners and cruise ships, bombing hotels, executing Olympians… You suicide bomb cafes and bars, pizzerias and nightclubs, synagogues and buses…
You then perpetrate the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, utilizing bestial savagery not witnessed even in the most brutal of African wars.
And what do the European pu…s do, the same ones who’ve been yelling to the sky “NEVER AGAIN!!!” and holding somber commemorations of the Holocaust for the past 80 years?
They give you a state.
There you go, ladies and gentlemen. Words fail.
But you see, this is why we have Israel and why we will NEVER EVER give it up and why we will defend it with any means necessary, regardless of what The World(TM) and The International Community(TM) say. 3am Yisrael 7ai w’kayam, and EUrotrash can go to hell.
Again Steiner with your lies and lies.
You think people dont read? dont know the reality?
The occupation will and have to stop. The apartheid regiom has to be dismantled as in south Africa.
it is a matter of time only!.
You are talking on liers ? Thete isnt any palastinien state and there wont be. baybys killers and raipist dont deserve a state.
Every human deserves a State, bud.
They deserve a Government that was elected more recently than 2007.
There are unfortunately criminals there like other places. Hamas and the kidnappings and murders are definitely criminal.
So is stuff like starving children to death, bombing World Food Kichen volunteers, and besieging hospitals like Al-Shifa. Do you think the State that did those things shouldn’t exist either?
Highly suggested to learn English before commenting!
This is first.
Secondly, by the same logic, Israel shouldn’t have a state since they have murderers, rapists, and criminals!
The international law say that there are Palestinian territories which is occupied.
The occupied has the right to resist in all means.
Regarding Hamas did or did not crimes on the 7th of Oct, it is to the world and journalists to examine and judge. But this does not take the right of resistance from the Palestinian people bud.!
You are trash. Death to the Left!
Every single person who supported this and attended should be expelled by Hungary. Islam is an evil lie and Muslims deserve rejection and expulsion from the West.
You are fascist and racist.
Your parents should have spent better time than having such a stupid idiot like you!
you should be deported to Mangloia E.g.!!!
