The Budapest Sports Arena Management Ltd. gave the following statement regarding tomorrow’s and the future concerts: “Dear Visitors! Most probably all of you are familiar with the fact, that a terror attack took place in Paris on the 13th of November, 2015, during the evening, generally in crowded places. We share the victims’ families and friends’ grief and wish a speedy recovery for the physical and mental injured.
Hungary ordered a B-level of terror threat for the increased protection of the citizens and the tourists staying in our country. Accordingly – and in compliance – the management of the Budapest Sports Arena Management Ltd. also increased the protection of the Arena. From this, our dear visitors will perceive the access control will be stricter, there can be baggage and clothing inspection as well. We ask you to come to our events earlier than usual and do not take large bags, packages with you. Bringing bottled drinks, metal subjects, piercing and cutting tools is still forbidden. The measure will slow the entry, so please be patient, but it is in all our interest to reduce the risks as possible. Similar checks are expected when entering the Arena parking garage where can be luggage compartment inspection as well. It is unconventional at our concerts, but police presence is also expected at our events, which is in the interest of all of us. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation and we wish you a very pleasant entertainment at our events, in spite of what happened!”
