Budapest’s Allee Shopping Mall gets a facelift for 16.5 million Euros
It has been recently announced that Buda’s most popular shopping centre, Allee will be renovated next year. The aim is to modernise the 10-year-old building. The project will cost approximately 16.5 million Euros.
Forbes reports that after only ten years of operation, Allee Shopping Mall is being renovated, as announced by Multi Corporation. Allee opened its gates on 11 November 2009.
Multi Corporation is a leading, pan-European integrated service platform for retail real estate assets. They are managing around 110 retail assets across Europe and Turkey. They offer all kinds of services, including active asset management, shopping centre operations, redevelopment & refurbishment, leasing, marketing, legal and compliance.
Multi believes that the project shows the owner’s dedication towards Allee. The renovation requires an investment of 16.5 million Euros.
The renovation project kicks off in 2020. The aim is to modernise the outside of the building, making it more “vivacious”. The concept itself is created by Multi Corporation’s very own design team called TT Design, and Finta Stúdió will be responsible for construction plans. The new design will have space for new cafes, restaurants, terraces and pavilions. The playground will be renovated as well.
About Allee
Allee opened its gates on 11 November 2009. The shopping centre has four levels and 47 000 square meters GLA including retail and entertainment functions. It additionally has 7 000 square meters for offices and a three-level parking house located underneath the centre with 1280 parking places.
