CNN: These are the best luxury bars in Budapest

Young travellers and bachelor parties tend to choose Budapest for its vibrant and diverse ruin bar scene. Not that many people are aware of the interesting and up-and-coming luxury bar scene in the Hungarian capital. CNN wants to change this.

CNN Travel recently published an article written by Nathan Kay which collects Budapest’s best luxury bars. Kay believes that “while the Hungarian capital’s ruin bars offer a unique experience, the luxury bar scene here is second to none.”

St. Andrea Wine & Skybar

St. Andrea Wine & Skybar can be accessed through Vörösmarty Square. This rooftop bar is a fabulous drinking spot both during summer and winter. The delicious Irish coffees and the wide variety of signature cocktails will surely entice anyone to stay for another round. The bar delivers an all-round view of the Budapest skyline.

The ambience is already worth checking out, with the windowless space and the scarlet-hued room setting the tone for the night. Choosing a cocktail will not be an easy task as the bartenders are very creative, reimagining the classics, too.
