Cooperation pact signed to expand Hungary-Slovakia ties
Budapest, December 8 (MTI) – Hungary-Slovakia trade relations have been developing apace, according to trade diplomats, and to give them a further boost the Hungarian National Trading House (MNKH) signed a cooperation agreement with the Slovak Investment and Trade Development Agency (SARIO) on Thursday.
The agreement aims to expand economic ties and involve additional sectors, such as energy and infrastructure, next to conventional trading, MNKH director Zsanett Oláh told a Hungary-Slovakia business forum organised by the trading house in Budapest.
State secretary for economic diplomacy, Levente Magyar, said that based on last year’s figures, Slovakia is Hungary’s third most important economic partner and one of the most important export markets for Hungarian goods.
