Coronavirus – One patient dies, 4,079 registered infections in Hungary
An elderly patient with underlying illnesses has died in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of Covid-19 fatalities to 568, while registered novel coronavirus infections in Hungary have increased by one to 4,079, koronavirus.gov.hu said on Thursday morning.
Fully 2,564 hospitalised patients have made a recovery. The number of active infections has dropped to 947. Thirty-nine percent of the active cases, 60 percent of the fatalities and 48 percent of full recoveries are in Budapest, the site said.

Fully 199 Covid-19 patients are undergoing treatment in hospital, 15 of whom are on ventilators.
Altogether 7,092 are in official home quarantine. The number of tests carried out stands at 245,598.
Parliament on Tuesday voted to lift the state of emergency related to the coronavirus epidemic and created the legal basis for maintaining a state of epidemiological preparedness with restrictions lifted or eased.

Budapest (1,934 people) has the highest number of infections, followed by Pest County (597) and Fejer County (376). Bekes County (13) has the lowest number.
