Could beaches in Budapest open again in July?
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, baths had to close, and now beaches will not open at their usual time in May.
A realistic timeframe for opening beaches and baths again would be in July, according to NlCafe.
After the spread of the new coronavirus, baths started closing their doors, although they were not obligated to do so at first, as we have reported. Many baths and beaches even suspended collecting rent from the boutiques on their premises.
They are paying careful attention to how the virus spreads, as well as to procedures to prevent it, and they follow the government’s instructions and orders. They are also observing the measures international bathhouses and beaches are taking, and they make their own plans accordingly.
According to their current plans, once the restrictions are lifted – which is expected after May 3 –, employees will start the preparation and maintenance of the pools, and they will be careful about preventing or spreading the virus. They still need to get familiar with any new regulations put forth by authorities regarding the operation of bath units.
There will still be children’s, students’ and eldelry discounts available at Palatinus, Paskál, Csillaghegy, Római, Pünkösdfürdő, and Pesterzsébet beaches and baths if and when they open.

If this was to occur, it would truly be a blessing.
My Hope is that by July, that through Scientific Medical Opinion – the “green light” is signed off by them, and it’s safe to hit the water again.
In probability, there will be changes to our normal freedom in the usage of our recreational water sports pleasure activities, but we could live and operate responsible if that was the case or situation.
Fingers crossed – on a wing and a prayer we march forward driven focused on and by HOPE.
