From 16 March, a new route will be added to the network of FlixBus routes from Budapest. The company will provide direct connections to Zurich, the largest city in Switzerland.
The 13.5-hour bus service through Vienna, Linz and Munich is operated by Hungarian staff and terminates at Zurich station, turizmus.com reports. Tickets for the newly announced route can be purchased from HUF 17,990 (EUR 45.75) on the FlixBus website or app, the bus company said.
Zurich, Switzerland
Switzerland’s most populous city is an attractive destination for its many cultural and historical attractions. Among its exhibitions is the Lindt Museum, which opened in 2020. Lake Zurich and the surrounding mountains are an invitation to hiking, boating and exploring the beauty of nature. For those who like active recreation, there is also an exciting bike ride along the 51.5 km-long route around the lake.
