Budapest (MTI) – The national flag of Hungary was raised, then lowered to half-mast with military honours in front of Parliament on Sunday to commemorate the victims of the Paris terror attacks.
The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Viktor Orban, Defence Minister Istvan Simicsko, Justice Minister Laszlo Trocsanyi, political cabinet chief Antal Rogan and French Ambassador to Hungary Eric Fournier.
Under a government decree passed on Saturday, Hungary holds a day of mourning today.
The Friday attacks claimed 129 lives and left 352 wounded.
