Diplomatic Charity Fair in Budapest: Shop around the world in one day!
The Diplomatic Charity Fair is back in Budapest for the 11th time. Just as in previous years, several countries will again assemble to showcase their traditional products. National souvenirs, crafts and specialty items, as well as food corner will enable visitors to ”shop around the world in one day”!
The Diplomatic Charity Fair, organised by the Diplomatic Spouses of Budapest, will be held on Sunday, 27th November 2022 at the InterContinental Budapest from 10.00 AM until 4.00 PM.
Madame Szilvia Szijjártó-Nagy, spouse of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary Péter Szijjártó, is the Patron of the Fair and will grace the event with her presence. In addition, many of the Ambassadors here in Budapest along with numerous VIP guests will take part in this charity fair.
Visitors can look forward to exciting cultural entertainment provided by several participating embassies. There will also be raffle draws with wonderful prizes to be won.
All proceeds of the Diplomatic Charity Fair 2022 are going to be donated to the following Hungarian Charities:
- Tovább Élni Egyesület (Live On Association) – helps the housing and employment of children and young people with multiple and mild disabilities
- BIZSU Közösségi tér (BIZSU Community Space) – supports children from Roma families living in deep poverty
- Heim Pál Children’s Hospital in Budapest

Entry to the Fair is at the hotel’s side entrance along Apáczai Csere János utca 12-14., 1052 Budapest. The entrance fee is HUF 1,000 (EUR 2.44). Children under the age of 14 have free entry.
