Drug addict’s rampage and murder in a small Hungarian village: horrific new details emerged – PHOTOS, VIDEO

We reported yesterday that a 31-year-old man killed a woman in her 40s in a small Hungarian village south of Lake Balaton. Before, he attacked and tried to murder two pensioners. Then, he tried to run away in the victim’s car but was apprehended by the police in Siófok after suffering a minor accident. Media believes that he was under the influence of drugs, but that information has not been confirmed yet. Locals say he was a drug addict. Here are some more details about the horrific events.

Pensioners attacked, shop assistant brutally murdered

RTL Klub News learned new details about the brutal attack in Fonó. They wrote in an article this morning that the perpetrator assaulted a 63-year-old woman with a 1.2-metre-long bludgeon who was taken into hospital with life-threatening injuries. Then, he turned against a 63-year-old man, also a pedestrian, and tried to kill him. A local saved him by letting him into his house, so the perpetrator went to a local shop and killed the innocent 46-year-old shop assistant.

“I fought for my life”, says the 63-year-old man

The assaulted man told RTL Klub news that he was on his way to the local pensioners’ club when the man unexpectedly attacked him. Before, he attacked a 68-year-old woman with his bludgeon. The pensioner said the attacker targeted his head, and his sole purpose was to kill him. He could garde his head, so the perpetrator hit his legs. Finally, a local helped him get away from the rampaging attacker.

The suspect left the scene with the victim’s car but returned to the shop. Then, he tried to escape from the police and even hit a police car. Officers followed him to Dombóvár and Iregszemcse and asked for the help of their Tolna County colleagues. The man went to Siófok, where he hit a car parked in front of a family house and then rolled into a ditch, suffering minor injuries. That is when the police apprehended him and, after the required medical treatment, arrested the guy.

He was a drug addict, locals say

The car’s owner told RTL Klub that the minor accident destroyed his vehicle’s back. Sadly, the car had to be written off after the accident. Furthermore, the family had to switch to wood heating because the man destroyed the fence and the gas meter. According to RTL Klub, the man acted violently and confused when the officers apprehended him.

According to the locals, he was a regular drug user. He lived abroad but moved back home to his mother and probably had some issues with the police. Drug use can easily cause unpredicted behaviour, experts agree.
