EasyJet introduces two new flights to the UK from Budapest
Travelo.hu writes that the British low-cost airline, EasyJet just announced that two new flights will be available for the 2018/19 winter season: the first one is available from November 2nd to London-Southend, while the second one from November 5th to Manchester.
EasyJet offers two flights each week to the London-Southend airport from Budapest on Mondays and Fridays early in the day.
The flights to Manchester will be offered two times a week as well, again on Mondays and Fridays. On Mondays, the flight takes off in the morning, while on Fridays in the evening.
You can already book a ticket for 9-11 thousand forints (EUR 27-34).
Regarding the Budapest-Manchester air travel possibilities, easyJet’s new flights will be competing with Ryanair (offers 5 flights per week) and with Jet2 (offers 4 flights per week). Altogether 11 flights will take off each week to the north-western city, providing a travel possibility each day.
Travelo notes that the London-Southend Airport has won several awards since the first aircrafts landed in the area in 1915. This particular airport is considered to be one of the fastest developing regional airports in the United Kingdom. If one intends to avoid the traffic above London, it is worth giving a chance to London-Southend Airport which was built along the shores near Essex, as from here, London is only one hour and Stratford is 43 minutes by train.
