Corvinus places 20th in QS executive MBA in international trade ranking

The Corvinus University of Budapest has placed 20th in the latest ranking for executive MBA programmes in international trade by Quacquarelli Symonds, the school told MTI on Tuesday. QS also recognized Corvinus as one of the most prestigious institutions offering master’s programs in this field.

As the frontrunner in the Central and Eastern European region, the Corvinus University of Budapest ranked 20th globally and 8th in Europe in the executive MBA category of the QS International Trade Ranking 2025, published in mid-February. The final list was compiled from an initial selection of 30 institutions.

“This outstanding achievement is a testament to Corvinus’ commitment to internationalization. Our Executive MBA program stands out for its practice-oriented education, which fosters strategic and critical thinking, its global outlook with a strong focus on the Central and Eastern European region, and its international environment thanks to our students and faculty,” emphasized Bruno van Pottelsberghe, Rector of Corvinus University.

QS has also released another ranking evaluating full-time MBA and master’s programs based on international trade education. The list features 87 programs from 30 countries, and for the first time, Corvinus has been included with its International Economy and Business master’s program, ranking 81st globally—the only Hungarian program to make the list.
