Eurowings plane suffers accident after taking off from Budapest Airport

Eurowings’s Budapest-Stuttgart flight collided shortly after it left the runway of the Budapest Airport.
According to airportal.hu, the plane collided with a bird not far from the Hungarian International Airport. Therefore, it had to return.
The Airbus A319’s nr two right engine ran on bare minimum after the collision, the pilots reported to the tower.
Authorities found the remains of the hit bird close to the 31R runway and moved them away before the plane started to descend.
58 passengers and 5 crew members were on board of the plane. The passengers were taken to the airport’s transit sector, where they will receive updates from Eurowings.
