Family massacre in Budapest
A family was murdered in Budapest. Budapest Police Headquarters reported that according to the available data, a 35-year-old father, Levente S., killed his 31-year-old partner and 4-year-old child, then committed suicide. It all happened in the 2nd district of Budapest.
The apartment’s owner called the police at 11:55 am because the tenants did not answer his phone calls. The victims’ and perpetrator’s dead bodies were found by the policemen who arrived at the scene.
According to the Hungarian news portal, 24.hu, police officers visited the apartment a few days before the murder happened.
Budapest Police Headquarters reported the following: “In Zöldlomb street (2nd district), police action was carried out on 20th August 2019 at 13:08 am, when a woman called the police, claiming that her partner took her keys. At the scene, policemen listened to the woman and the man who finally arranged the situation. On the site, no circumstances arose for further police action.”
Medical experts are still investigating the time of death; however, it is suspected that the dead bodies have been there for days.
24.hu talked to a neighbour who said that the family moved to the apartment 1.5 years ago. Their little son has just enrolled in kindergarten.
