The 32-year-old sisters, part of a set of triplets, had been captured on CCTV near Aberdeen Boat Club before their disappearance. Authorities had previously conducted searches of the river and harbour, but the inquiry remained a missing persons case, with no suspicion of criminality. The women, who moved to Scotland a decade ago, had abruptly informed their landlady of their departure before their phones became inactive. Their family in Hungary expressed confusion over their sudden decision and requested privacy. Police investigations are ongoing.
