Fidesz: EU aggressively attacks our ‘child protection law’
Hungary’s ruling Fidesz-Christian Democrat alliance “rejects the European Commission’s aggressive, brutal attack against the country’s child protection law,” Fidesz MEP Tamás Deutsch said in a video statement on Wednesday, adding that the government would “protect” the contested legislation.
Deutsch said that at a referendum last year “nearly 4 million parents and grandparents” had supported the legislation against “gender ideology” and “increasingly aggressive attacks by LGBTQ activists”.
The MEP said it was “Hungarian parents’ inalienable right to make decisions concerning their children’s sex education”, and insisted that “children are sacred and inviolable”. “We will protect Hungarian children … we will defend the child protection law,” he said.
Deutsch called it “shameful” that “representatives of the Hungarian Dollar Left are inciting governments across Europe against the Hungarian child protection law”. He said the European Parliament’s siding with the law’s opponents was “outrageous”.

Our Politicians keep on arguing the law is intended to protect children against pedophiles – however, the law somehow manages to conflate potential perpetrators with members the LGBTQ community. Now for the not so fun bit – a lot of pedophilia undeniably takes place in sports associations, social clubs, families (incest). So the need for protection is valid, question is how. And this law is … lackluster, a convenient political hobby horse based on soundbites (“you don’t want your kid to be turned gay in school, do you?”).
This is what the EU is upset about – because it’s contrary to the stated EU values (which we signed up for).
Norbert- this BS comes ftom the radical left from the UK and US. Many major hospitals will transition you kid without parent’s consent at a very young age. The EU and it’s media are controlled by the big media and tech companies in the US, that is only the beginning has little to do with homosexual people. This is organization like BLM and has little to do with most black people. Both of these are left wing radical white groups are mainly at the center.

To “sell” this law, the Govenment equates pædophilia with members of the LGBTQ community, when in fact, it’s in the wider community, and is, for most part, absent in the LGBTQ communities.
