Fidesz MEP: Restoring EU unity primary task
Mainstream European Union policies have “demolished” the bloc’s unity, and the next task to restore that unity, Tamás Deutsch, an MEP of ruling Fidesz party, said on Tuesday.
Speaking on the sidelines of the European Parliament session in which the working programme of the Swedish presidency was presented, Deutsch said that by “backstabbing” member states protecting the common borders against illegal migration, the EU had started to “dismantle European unity”.
The “political witch-hunt” under the pretext of rule-of-law procedures was another step in this direction, he said. Those procedures were clearly a form of “political pressure and blackmail,” he added.
“We will have to work to restore the EU’s unity that Brussels has dismantled,” Deutsch said. That hinges on all EU institutions adhering to EU treaties and respecting the bloc’s cultural and political diversity, he said.
Regarding the Swedish presidency’s programme, Deutsch said Hungary was on board with the importance of protecting the rule of law.
Regarding corruption charges against several MEPs, Deutsch said the EP had “significant resources” at hand to investigate the bribery cases, “but they are shooting at sparrows” by using them “in connection with alleged corruption cases in member states”. Meanwhile, the accused MEPs have been in regular contact with the Hungarian opposition, he said.
Fidesz MEPs will propose introducing the Hungarian asset declaration form to the EU, he said. As the EC itself seems to think the Hungarian legal system is able to combat corruption, its implementation in the EP may help similar efforts there, he added.

How many lies can the Hungarian population endure? The only country not “unified” is Hungary. The rest of Europe is determined and together in the fight against Orban’s pal Putin. Hungary has become an outsider in this group by standing by and watching Putin destroy Ukraine and doing as little as possible. I feel it every time I travel outside Hungary to anywhere in Europe, an exercise I encourage all Hungarians to do.

This AGAIN and it goes on and on, the DAMAGE continuous the PROPAGANDA of Lies – just “spilling out” of the mouths of this Fidesz Party – on the European Union, ticked off and approved possible written by – the current Prime Minister of Hungary – Victor Orban.
DAMAGE deepening DAMAGE repetitive on the name Hungary, being FACT – placed on the European Union position and membership – through the Fidesz/Orban led present “Dictatorial” led Government of Hungary.
Hungary – we are ‘Booted out” of the European Union, or permission is granted from Moscow, for us to – “go it alone” in consultation, and approval equally of course from Beijing, what FACTUALLY would life be in Hungary?
There remains SPREAD throughout the civilians of Hungary, the ageing and decreasing population we are, population of 9.5 million, a liking and preference – to return Hungary to its STYLE and functionality of Government of 1989 & prior, back to say 1945.
The LONGER we leave Fidesz to run there own AGENDA – the “Turbo” charge pace, we are descending into back to pre 1989 days we are HEADING.
Is it in the DNA of generations of century’s of Hungarians – our COMFORT zone to live in times, in a country that take 1989 & prior Hungary operated, under a Dictatorial & Communist run Political and Government system?
Hungary – we are DEEPLY down the track to reverting to the ways of Government pre 1989 – that a reversal to DEMOCRACY gets larger in its process to reversing – from the MONSTROUS present hold over Hungary – the return to rule by Dictatorship and Communism, the avoiding of AGAIN – becoming a replication of and prior 1989 “way of life” in Hungary.
Hungarians we have become LEMMINGS and falling over the cliff just “follow the leader” has set us on a road that GROWS being a Cataclysmic Capitulation.
