Scheduled Munich flights soon to resume in Hungarian city!

Scheduled flights between Pécs and Munich are set to resume in late March, marking a major step for Pécs-Pogány Airport as it returns to the international air traffic network.

Pécs Mayor Attila Péterffy announced the development on his social media, highlighting that the resumption of services follows extensive preparatory work. Plans indicate that flights to Munich will operate twice weekly, providing both business and leisure travellers with renewed access to Europe and beyond.

Pécs to become accessible from many points in Europe

“The project’s greatest strength lies in its foundation of cooperation between businesses and institutions, offering a long-term and sustainable solution,” Péterffy wrote. “Through the Munich connection, Pécs becomes directly accessible with ticket purchases from numerous points across Europe and the world. Economic actors, the university, and tourism stakeholders all see strategic opportunities in this development, and we anticipate their continued collaboration.”
