Funding available for talent scouting doubled from last year
Budapest, July 30 (MTI) – Funding available by application this year for talent scouting doubled from last year and tripled from 2013, the state secretary for family and youth affairs said on Thursday.
Katalin Novak told public news channel M1 that 2.8 billion forints is available for scouting young talent this year under the National Talent Programme of the ministry for human resources.
The programme helps the development of 300-350,000 children each year and since its launch, more than 1 million talented youngsters have received funding.
Applications can be submitted by education institutions, civil organisations, companies and private individuals until September 11. Starting from this year, individual scholarships will also be offered and a programme to support families will be launched, she said.
