Funding for Hungarian Erasmus mobility programmes at hand
All resources are at hand to run the Erasmus mobility programmes in the autumn and spring semester, Richárd Bordogi, the head of the organiser Tempus Foundation, told a press conference on Thursday.
Currently, 50 Hungarian universities are participating in the programme, 21 of which have gone through a government-funded reform, he said. The universities not in the government remodelling scheme had no difficulties in implementing the programme, and those within the reform are supported by a HUF 1.8 billion (EUR 4.7m) government grant, he said. The European Union has withheld funds from universities on the programme citing corruption concerns.
