Game of Thrones in the Hungarian Plain – VIDEO

The theme song of the HBO hit series Game of Thrones has been covered on numerous occasions since the show aired for the first, but some creative musicians can always surprise us, like the Hódmezővásárhely garrison band, as Vásárhely24.hu reports.

According to the news site Vásárhely24, the Bocskai István Infantry Brigade’s garrison band from Hódmezővásárhely gave a full house concert in the local Reformed Old Church. The military musicians performed classical music but covered famous pop songs and film scores too.

Among the film scores was the opening theme of Game of Thrones (you can catch the live concert experience in May in Budapest, featuring Ramin Djawadi), which was recorded and uploaded to YouTube.
