Generali offers international customer service in the 2nd district of Budapest
Generali Private Ltd. opened a new sales point in the 2nd district of Budapest: next to local clients, the new office is specialized in attending to foreign customers living in the district. The agents of the sales point speak 4 different foreign languages, so negotiation and sharing insurance information can be easier and more comfortable for international clients.
Despite the continuous development of digital technology, personal contact is still crucial in the insurance industry: according to the survey of Generali Private Ltd., approximately half of future clients would look around for information online, but would make their contracts in person. Generali wishes to fulfill this need around the country.
In this area the company reached a new milestone: it opened its first sales point in Budapest which is specialized in attending to foreign customers living in the district, next to local clients.
The office is located in the 2nd district, on Margit Circuit 44. and its colleagues speak four different languages: English, German, Russian and Slovenian. This wide range of foreign languages makes negotiation and sharing insurance information easier and more comfortable for international clients.
Cars and health matter the most for foreigners
More than 20 thousand foreign customers have taken out insurances at Generali in the last 10 years. Among the many offered possibilities, insurances for cars and health are the most popular by far: 80 percent of international clients choose these options.
The favorite product of foreigners is insurance for vehicles, which is taken out by more than 60 percent of international clients. This is followed by the company’s health insurance, called “Testőr”, which is a life, accident and health insurance is one – almost 25 percent of foreign customers choose this option.
Home insurance comes in third place among international clients – this type of insurance was taken out by 4 percent of them recently.
