Gigantic new shop

The German drugstore chain is set to open Hungary’s largest store, a three-storey, 2,800-square-metre flagship, just steps away from the old location at the corner of Váci Street and Régi Posta Street, where the historic Fontana House once stood. The site will also feature 40 upscale apartments as part of Müller Drogéria Magyarország Lp’s real estate development. With construction progressing rapidly, the chain has promised a grand opening celebration, though the exact date remains under wraps.

  1. Our house is in regi posta utca, 1052.
regi posta utca crosses Vaci utca.
We have endured (4) four years and it goes on and on, not nearing completion a picture that resembles, the in-human images we continue to see coming out of Gaza.
We have seen business closures in regi posta utca through the construction of the building that will “house” the new and larger Muller, and be “topped” by the apartment number referred in this article.
Rates and Taxes we pay, have paid for the years, of our ownership in our house, the joy of living in this regi posta utca location, has been over the past (4) four years that is “on-going” months possible up to another (2) two years till our utca is the “FINISHED” renovation / face lift, remains a Night Mare, for the residents and businesses.
Through – the destruction of regi posta utca 1052, from petofi utca across the vaci utca returning back into regi posta uca – the destruction has had gargantuan effects on just not locals and business’s but TOURIST numbers – who normally would use this walk, that end’s with glorious views of the Danube, and across into Buda – the Castle and beyond.
Tourist numbers – the lack of through the “Gaza” like scene of regi posta utca inclusive of the Vaci utca location of this building – caused HARDSHIP to business operators which number(s) have ceased to operate.
In the (4) four years we have had to live – in regi posta utca the “massive” face-lift of McDonalds.
McDonalds and the complex I refer – if one is BAD enough to live in and amongst having (2) two going on at the same time – REPULSIVE and IDIOTIC decision making, arising coming out of the District V – Mayor & Council Office.
    It GOES on.
“Gaza” – the “Gaza” of Budapest – that will claim further business “innocent” regi posta utca and near by businesses.
This project as explained – it’s COMPLETION date remains 12 months plus of, returning our utca – the area of regi posta utca to again NORMALITY and nor resembling a scene likened to Gaza.
