Government, employers, unions sign wage agreement for 2015
Budapest (MTI) – Government, employers and unions signed an agreement on next year’s wages on Monday.
The minimum wage was set at 105,000 forints (EUR 334) per month as of Jan. 1 next year or 122,000 forints for skilled workers. The recommended wage hike in the private sector was agreed at 3-4 percent.
Economy Minister Mihaly Varga signed the agreement on behalf of the government on Monday and said consultations with social players on experiences of the new labour code would soon start.
