Hilton Garden Inn Hotel to be opened in the heart of Budapest
Because of the franchise agreement made with the Hilton hotel enterprise, Accent Hotel Management has announced the opening of Hilton Garden Inn Budapest City Centre. Turizmusonline.hu writes that the uniquely located 214 roomed hotel is going to be Hilton’s third hotel unit in Hungary.
“The constant growth of Hungary’s touristic popularity is signalled by the fact that among European capitals, Budapest had the biggest RevPAR growth in 2016” said Patrick Fitzgibbon, the vice-president responsible for Hilton EMEA’s regional development. “Hilton Garden Inn Budapest City Centre, as the chain’s first so called focused service category hotel, targets people in Hungary who are looking for high quality services besides the good value for money.”
The Hilton Garden Inn Budapest City Centre will be built in the Pest side of the city, within reach of Andrássy Avenue’s exclusive shops. The hotel will be located 100 metres away from the Hungarian State Opera, meaning that Budapest’s main attractions will be easily reached from the hotel.
Moreover, the new hotel will have a breath-taking view of the Saint Stephen’s Basilica and the Opera from its 9th floor. Guests will be welcomed by open kitchen breakfast, á la carte lunch and dinner, and a stylish bar. You’ll also find a Pavilion Pantry, typical of the Hilton Garden Inn brand, in the hotel. It is a nonstop delicacy shop, where you can buy drinks, snacks and necessary health care and beauty products.
Budapest is one of the most popular European locations for international conferences, so the hotel also wants to fulfil the expectations of business guests: besides the three conference halls, there’s also going to be a business centre which satisfies all needs.
Imre Csordás, the manager of Accent Hotel Management, said that they, as one of Hungary’s leading hotel management enterprises, are very happy to partner with Hilton in such a project. “The Hilton Garden Inn Budapest City Centre will represent a new and exciting offer in Budapest’s hotel market, where we have quite a lot of experience as operators.”
Hilton Garden Inn Budapest City Centre joins the well-known Hilton Budapest and Hilton Budapest City as the chain’s third unit in our capital.
“We found the perfect partnership in the unity of Accent Hotel Management and Hilton, which can ensure the long-term success of estate investments for developer-owners” said hotel expert advisor Martina Maly-Gärtner, the managing director of Michaeler & Partner.
John Greenleaf, the director internationally responsible for the Hilton/Hilton Garden Inn brand, thinks that the announcement of the new hotel-development is the perfect end to a very successful 2016. “Hilton Garden Inn currently has 50 hotels in Europe, and further 40 projects are on their way. Central Europe stays a key link in the development.” He added that they plan on opening several new hotels in 2017, like the Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Old Town.
The exact location of the Hilton Garden Inn Budapest City Centre will be Lázár Street 11-13 in the 6th district. The new hotel will be opened in 2018.
