Hungarian dog became one of the best rescue dogs in the world
Szeretlekmagyarorszag.hu writes that László Balázs, the member of Pest County Directorate for Disaster Management’s regional rescue service, and his rescue dog, Symba, were the only Hungarians to complete the expectations at the master test of rescue dogs in Slovenia, organised be the International Rescue Dog Organisation.
The world’s biggest professional rescue dog organisation connects and tests more than a hundred rescue dog units of almost forty countries, from Europe to South America. The action-based Mission Readiness Test is at the top of this lineage test system. This is basically the master test of rescue dogs, since the qualification means that a rescue dog and its master can be flung on an international level.
Even entering this test requires special qualifications. The master test has to be preceded with at least 3-4 years of hard work, as only the best can be entitled with the highest qualification. The acknowledgement’s value is enhanced with the fact that the textile badge is only given to very few prepared rescue dog units in the world. This is owned by 60 dogs in ruin exploration, and only 14 in field exploration.
However, there are four dogs in the world that were able to gain the profession’s admiration in both specialties and they stand out from the thousands of rescue dogs with their preparedness, talent and persistence. One of these four special dogs is Symba, who comes from Pest County.
During the three days of the test it was constantly raining, which made the exercises even harder to do. The units had to search for lost people on a six hectare big, woody, many times impassable field, night and day, in these conditions. They also had to deal with vet and GPS challenges.
The complexity of the exercises is probably best demonstrated by the fact that only two dogs achieved the acknowledgement out of the 16, and one of them was Symba, who achieved the Hungarian rescue dog society’s biggest success in the world of international rescue dog services.

What a wonderful recognition for this Master and his dog. But I think the other dogs should be recognized with runner up recognition as there can only be 1 winner and so many came close to being top dog.
