There are not many Hungarian restaurants in America. I wish there were more. 🙂
What’s not to like? Fried bread goes with everything.
Enjoy!!next meeting next to langos truck..beats the donuts…..!!
As I know in the original recipe there’s no potato.
Jó magyar módra azonnal piszkálódom… A sikereteknek örülök, Hajrá!
@Melinda: You’re right, the original lángos has no potatoes in it. Potato-lángos (krumplilángos / burgonyalángos) is made with potatoes, but that’s a completely different kind of food.
There’s a great Hungarian Restaurant in Southgate, Mi. It’s call Rhapsody on Northline Rd.
You can get LANGOS dough at Otto’s Hungarian Import Store & Deli
in Burbank, California. (Next to Los Angeles) 🙂
Once you have the dough, it is easy to make! Also, they have all the fixings and toppings for your Langos too. I like the Paprika Paste and the Eros Pista!

Potato usually being used for a reason to avoid the Langos to suck up to much oil.
Gratulálok! Sok sikert 🙂
