At a press conference on Thursday, Szijjártó said that it was absurd that “people sitting in offices thousands of kilometres away from Budapest” should pass judgement on the state of Hungary.
It is also “nonsense”, the minister said, that Hungary should be condemned solely on the basis of its position concerning the migration crisis.
Szijjártó voiced incomprehension that “a country, which builds not a fence but a wall along its southern border, should criticise Hungary’s approach to the migration crisis”.
