Hungarian Government: Ukraine violence unacceptable

(MTI) – Violence, especially by state authorities, is unacceptable, Zsolt Nemeth, the foreign affairs state secretary told a foreign ministerial session of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe held in Kiev on Thursday.

The freedoms of assembly and speech are fundamental principles of the OSCE and no countries can establish lasting democracy without respecting them, he told MTI.

Nemeth insisted that the commitment of the government and opposition of Ukraine to European integration are unquestionable.

“No country has the right to intervene in the internal affairs of another nation and influence its orientation,” he said.
