Hungarian oil and gas giant MOL will introduce new fuel types

Hungarian oil and gas company MOL on Thursday said it successfully tested the production of new fuel types at a refinery managed by its subsidiary in Bratislava, Slovakia.

MOL tested the production of diesel containing hydrogenated plant-based oil and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). The company said fuel produced by the combined processing of bio and fossil components releases fewer harmful substances into the atmosphere than traditional fuel, helping its sustainability efforts and strengthening its regional market positions.
